Hypothesis: Phone calling is more efficient than texting. do people prefer phoning or texting?
Transcribe a text and phone conversation on a minute timer and see witch one has more words or communicated more info in that time.
Points: 1-can show voice effects/tone in phone conversation easier than text 2-can speak faster than you can type 3-you don’t have time to think though-less authentic 6-cant show emojis or para-linguistic feature in phone call 3-harder to lie in phone call 4-easier to text people you don’t like 6-can do sound effects in phone calls 5-phoning both people have to be available for phone calling, not for texting. – phoning doesn’t record. 4-It depends on who you are talking to, relative ring, random text.
P1- speak faster than you can type- transcript of amount of words.
