Setting: Capulets mansion. Time: Sunday Night. Characters: Servingmen, Capulet, Cousin Capulet, Romeo, Tybalt, Juliet, Nurse, Benvolio, Party guests.
Summary: In this scene Romeo, Benvolio and Mercutio arrive at the Capulet Party, and tybalt recognizes Romeos voice and vows to kill/attack him later. Romeo then spots Juliet. He soon forgets all about Rosaline and introduces himself to Juliet with a few kisses. They instantly fall in love. After the party Juliet asks Nurse who he is because they had masks on and she says it was Romeo, a Capulet.
Quote: “My only love sprung from my only hate!” Juliet saying that the only person she actually loves happens to be a member of their rival family.
